Athletic and Fitness Center

A 53,000-square-foot building addition creates a new entry and front door to the main athletic building (Walker Field House), providing a varsity gym with seating for 850 spectators and an indoor all-purpose running track that serves as the gym's upper deck.

The fitness room contains cardiovascular equipment such as treadmills and stationary bikes, free weights and machine weights. Other amenities include multipurpose rooms, administrative offices, varsity locker rooms as well as laundry and storage areas.

The new facility is next to Vassar's nine-hole, par 34 golf course that is available to the Vassar community.
