ELMIRA DOWNS VASSAR IN FIELD HOCKEY CONSOLATION
Hinshillwood leads William Paterson past King's for championship

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Senior forward Krista Hinshillwood (Oaklyn, N.J.) scored two goals to lead William Paterson University over King's College 3-1 in the championship match of the Betty Richey Field Hockey Tournament at Prentiss Field.

Senior forward Heather Aquino (Somerville, N.Y.) got William Paterson (4-0) on the scoreboard with a goal four minutes in. After the Pioneers were called for a penalty senior midfielder Megan O'Brien (Pottstown, Penn.) tied the game up when she beat junior Kelly Harchetts (Clarksburg, N.J.) on a penalty stroke. In the consolation game, junior forward Callie Black (Sanford, Maine) scored two goals including the game-winner three minutes into overtime to lift Elmira College to a 2-1 victory over Vassar College.

With the score tied 0-0 going into the second half, senior defender Maureen Kenealy (Wellesley, Mass.) picked up her first goal of the season seven minutes into the frame. Black tied the game up 13 minutes later.
