Head Coach Rhett Myers

Rhett Myers joined Vassar in 2004 as the assistant women's golf coach and was named the head coach in the spring of 2007.

Myers has been a Class A Member in the Metropolitan Section of the Professional Golfer's Association (PGA)since 1990. Myers was the PGA Director of Golf at the Robert Trent Jones Casperkill Golf Club in Poughkeepsie N.Y. for 13 years. During his golf career he has provided golf instruction to all levels of players from Juniors to State Champions.

In 2001, Myers was awarded the prestigious NYS Public School Appreciation Golf Award for Junior Golf by the Section 1 coaches.

He has written numerous golf articles that have been published in several Hudson Valley/Westchester publications and presently writes a weekly column in the Poughkeepsie Journal. In 2006, Hudson Valley Magazine named Myers "Best Teaching Professional" in the Hudson Valley. He is the head professional and manages the Vassar Golf Course on campus.

Myers graduated from Susquehanna University in 1983 where he played on the Division III golf team.

Assistant Coach Andy Jennings

Jennings became Vassar's first women's golf coach in 2003 and led the program throughout the 2007, which included the programs first-ever appearance in the NCAA Division III National Championships. He will assist new head coach Rhett Myers through a transition process during the 2007-08 season.

Jennings joined Vassar as head men's soccer coach in 1981 and became the school's first full time Director of Athletics in 1996. As men's soccer coach, Jennings has built the Brewers into one a formidable opponent against non-league opponents and inside the highly competitive Liberty League. Under Jennings, Vassar captured two ECAC regional championships and made seven ECAC playoff appearances. He also guided the team to three successive Suburban Conference titles.

After compiling a 123-79-27 career mark, Jennings became Vassar's first full-time director of athletics in 1996. Jennings returned to the position of head coach in 2004.

Jennings graduated from England's Exeter University in 1980 with a bachelor's degree in Education. In 1981, he completed his master's of arts in Education from the College of William and Mary in Virginia. Jennings finished his formal education by earning his doctorate in Sports Psychology from the University of Maryland in 1990.
