17TH-RANKED CLARKSON DOWNS VASSAR 16-3
Brewers fall to 2-2 in men's lacrosse

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Junior attacker Sean Pearce (Auburn, N.Y.) and junior midfielder Patrick Ryan (Canton, N.Y.) tallied two goals and two assists apiece in the first half to lead 17th-ranked Clarkson University to a 16-3 Upstate Collegiate Athletic Association men's lacrosse victory Saturday afternoon at Prentiss Field.

Clarkson (6-1, 1-0 UCAA) posted a commanding 10-0 lead at halftime, thanks in part to Pearce, Ryan, and junior midfielder Dan Amedro (Syracuse, N.Y.), who also had two goals.
