Ourelio nets seven as Chargers win

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Sophomore attacker Joe Ourelio (Suffern, N.Y.) scored seven goals to lead Dominican College to a 14-6 non-conference men's lacrosse victory over Vassar College Saturday afternoon at Prentiss Field.

With the game tied 2-2 after the first quarter, Dominican (4-3) ran off three straight goals, including two from Ourelio to take a 5-2 lead.

Freshman attacker Zach Winkler (W. Islip, N.Y.) scored two of his three goals in the third period to cut the Charger lead to 9-6 with just over seven minutes remaining in the frame. But the Chargers would prevail, scoring the last five goals of the game for the 14-6 final.

Sophomore midfielder Charles Davis (Spring Valley, N.Y.) chipped in three goals and two assists for Dominican, while junior Brian Hekl (Nanuet, N.Y.) made 13 saves in net.
