NEWBURGH, N.Y. ­ Senior midfielder Joe Nazzaro (Dracut, Mass.) scored a goal and assisted on another to lead Vassar College to a 3-0 victory over Mount Saint Mary’s in men’s soccer action Wednesday afternoon.

Senior forward Chris Schreiber (Newton, Mass.) got the Brewers on the board with a goal 18 minutes into the game. Junior midfielder Joseph Petruccelli (Flushing, N.Y.) made it 2-0 with a goal off of a penalty kick midway through the second half. Nazzaro added a goal with seven minutes remaining for the 3-0 final.

Junior goalkeepers Alex Parra (Flushing, N.Y.) and Paul Connors (North Andover, Mass.) combined to make seven saves for Vassar, 3-1 overall. Drew Edwards had 12 saves for Mount Saint Mary.
