RPI BLANKS VASSAR 4-0

Poughkeepsie, N.Y. ‚ Rensselaer got goals from four different players, including three in the second half as the Engineers defeated Vassar College 4-0 in a UCAA women's soccer game Tuesday afternoon at Prentiss Field.

Senior Kristy Nachman (Johnson City, N.Y.) gave RPI the lead with a goal nine minutes into the first half. Senior Lisa McMillan (Rochester, N.Y.) scored five minutes into the second half before sophomore Katie Fredlund (Herkimer, N.Y.) and junior Laura Feeney (Merrick, N.Y.) put the game away with goals two minutes apart midway through the second half.

Senior Andrea Hamill (Mahopac, N.Y.) and sophomore Regina Primm (Islip Terrace, N.Y.) combined to make one save and record the shutout for RPI (9-1 overall, 4-1 UCAA).

Freshman Heather Jaffe (Belle Mead, N.J.) made four saves for the Brewers (3-8-1, 0-5 UCAA).
