VASSAR POUNDS MOUNT SAINT MARY 7-0

Poughkeepsie, N.Y. ‚ Junior forward Lindsey Pilver (Manchester, Conn.) scored three goals and junior midfielder Elizabeth Keehner (Rocky Hill, Conn.) added two goals and an assist to lead Vassar College to a 7-0 non-conference victory over Mount Saint Mary College in women's soccer action Wednesday afternoon at Prentiss Field.

Freshman midfielder Patricia Walsh (Ronkonkoma, N.Y.) and senior forward Courtney Mersereau (Portland, Ore.) also added goals for the Brewers who outshot the Blue Knights 19-1 in a game that was cut to sixty minutes due to darkness.

Freshmen goalkeepers Heather Jaffe (Belle Mead, N.J.), Alice England (Salt Lake City, Utah) and sophomore Heather Anderson (Worcester, N.Y.) combined for one save for Vassar. Vassar finishes the season at 5-10-1 overall.

Sophomore Rachele Kempton (Manorville, N.Y.) and freshman Vanessa Seminara (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.) combined for four saves for the Blue Knights (8-10-2).
