NEW PALTZ, N.Y. -- Elmira College scored two late second-half goals to defeat
Vassar College 2-1 in the final day of the Mid-Hudson Classic in women's soccer
action at SUNY-New Paltz Sunday afternoon.
Sophomore forward Sarah Combs (Anchorage, Alaska) scored the Brewers first and
only goal at 8:25 in the first half.
Vassar carried the lead for the next 60 minutes, before Jennifer Tuttle beat freshman
goalie Heather Jaffe (Belle Mead, N.J.) for the goal. Siabhan Eddington gave the
Soaring Eagles the lead ten minutes later on a shot from 15 yards out.
Christine Zalusky made six saves for Elmira, 3-0 overall.
Jaffe collected nine saves for the Brewers, 1-1 overall.
