VASSAR STUNS DREW 4-3
Maslikowski, Brookner lead men's tennis team to victory

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. --Juniors Jake Maslikowski (Scottsdale, Ariz.) and Aaron Brookner (Short Hills, N.J.) won their singles and doubles matches to lead Vassar College to a hard-fought 4-3 men's tennis victory over Drew University Monday afternoon at Walker Field House.

Maslikowski and Brookner teamed up to beat the #1 doubles team of J.D. Spina (Grosse Point Farms, Mich.) and Julian Fuller (Muskogee, Okla.) 8-4. Maslikowski then defeated Spina 4-6, 7-5, 7-6 (5) in #1 singles, while Brookner took the #5 singles over Ryan McDonald (Marshfield, Mass.) 7-6 (3), 6-7 (6), 6-4.

Sophomore Andrew Ezekowitz (Woodbridge, Conn.) and senior Nat Bruhn (Storrs, Conn.) each picked up singles wins at #4 and #6 respectively.

Fuller and Anthony Carreras (Staten Island, N.Y.) won their singles matches for Drew (5-2).

Vassar (3-7) will play at New York University on Saturday at 1 p.m.
