Poughkeepsie, N.Y. - Vassar College defeated Drew University 9-0 in a women's tennis non-conference matchup Monday afternoon at Joss Courts.

Senior Alexis Neider (Shelton, Conn.) shut out Clare Tyson 6-0, 6-0 in #3 singles. Neider also combined with junior Jessica Shofler (Toluca Lake, Calif.) to win the #1 doubles match 8-0.

With the win Vassar improves to 5-1. The Brewers travel to Saint Lawrence University on October 12th for the UCAA Championships.
