Loui ties career high for digs with 35, Johnson adds 27 kills in win

 

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Senior hitter McKenzie Johnson (Phoenix, Ariz.) tallied a season-high 27 kills and added 11 digs to lead Vassar College to a 3-1 non-conference women's volleyball victory over SUNY New Paltz Wednesday evening at Kenyon Hall.

 

Junior libero Nani Loui (Honolulu, Hawaii) racked up a career-tying 35 digs for Vassar (7-3). Sophomore hitter Anita Stavin (Clifton Park, N.Y.) added 11 kills and two blocks, while senior hitter Anna Tabet (Eugene, Ore.) tacked on ten kills and 18 digs.

 

New Paltz (9-13) drops its fourth straight overall to Vassar.
